Bambooee Towels on Shark Tank
Reusable Paper Towels - Episode 517 - 2/28/2014
How many paper towels rolls does your family buy in a year's time? We easily use up at least 2 rolls a month, or at least 24 rolls of paper towels within a year. They sure are convenient, but boy that's a lot of paper, and a lot of trees needed to keep up with this single use throw away product. But what if paper towels were made out of Bamboo wood instead? Is this type of wood really that much stronger than the softer woods normally used in making disposable paper towels? It looks like we're all going to get a lesson on how efficient Bamboo really is on the next Shark Tank Show.
| One Roll of Bambooee Equals 286 Paper Towel Rolls |
If this isn't a good enough reason for you to try a roll of Bambooee, then maybe planting a tree for you will. For each roll of Bambooee sold, one tree will be planted and help restore forests that have been destroyed from over logging. According to the main page, so far over 50,000 trees have been planted (pre-Shark Tank appearance) as a result from buying Bambooee products. That sounds fantastic, but how much do these new and improved kitchen towels cost? According to Bambooee's listing on Amazon, it cost 15.99 per roll
